Teams to Start Searching for Bodies after Fires, Death Toll Continues to Grow


SONOMA — Officers say restoration groups, some with cadaver canine, will begin looking for our bodies in some areas devastated by wildfires raging throughout Northern California.

Sonoma County Sheriff Robert Giordano says officers are investigating tons of of stories of lacking individuals and that restoration groups will begin doing focused searches for our bodies Thursday. He warns that identification could also be troublesome and take a while.

He says officers have discovered some our bodies virtually utterly intact however different stays are “nothing greater than ash and bones.”

Giordano says a minimum of 14 individuals have been killed Sonoma County, elevating the dying toll to 24.
