Immediately was a typical December day with temps close to regular.  Proper now, that’s altering as a potent chilly entrance sags to the south.  Take a look at McCook’s present temperature…now under freezing.

We’ll see different temps drop quite shortly because the entrance passes by way of this night from northern Kansas to the southern half of the state.

Temps will drop into the teenagers and decrease 20s statewide.  Now, as this entrance arrives, a number of sprinkles and/or snow showers can be attainable.  Any quantities shall be mild and the exercise will probably be spotty. However, in the event you get beneath a snow bathe, visibility could possibly be briefly lowered.

Tonight, I’m monitoring this slim snow probability and simply a 15-20 diploma temperature drop for Thursday.  I’ll let you recognize once we can get well and heat again up into the 50s & even 60s on KSN Information at 5, 6 and 10. – Chief Meteorologist Lisa Teachman
