Students accused of torturing rat as part of hazing allegations

College students who have been a part of an unrecognized fraternity at an upstate New York school tortured a rat as a part of unlawful hazing, authorities say.

Six School at Brockport college students and three different males have been charged, together with two who’re accused of animal cruelty.

Police stated Thursday that two former pledges got here ahead, resulting in the fees.

Arrested have been Andrew William Peterson, Nickolas Antonio Buffa, Jacob Benjamen Manolt, Jacob William Parker, Mussey Tesfai Tella, Leo Woon Keul Chai, Connor Brett Reed, Brian Christopher Halpin and Tyler Francis Ryan.
