Shaquille O’Neal hosted a personal Manhattan screening on Tuesday of “Killer Bees” — the debut documentary by Benjamin and Orson Cummings that simply performed the Hamptons Worldwide Movie Pageant.
The film follows Bridgehampton Excessive Faculty basketball coach Carl Johnson as he leads his staff, the titular Killer Bees, to defend their state championship title.
However the filmmakers clarify, “The story goes past basketball to look at problems with race and absurd revenue inequality as group leaders battle to maintain the varsity open and protect a spot for the black inhabitants within the Hamptons.”
We hear that becoming a member of the VIPs on the intimate NYC screening have been potential consumers — together with ESPN — in addition to government producer and artwork collector Glenn Fuhrman.
