Probable cause affidavit released in Newton double homicide

NEWTON, Kan. (KSNW) – KSN has obtained the possible trigger affidavit in Newton double homicide.

On Aug. eight, 24-yr-previous Alyssa Runyon and daughter Zaylynn Paz have been discovered lifeless.

Police stated the woman had been fatally stabbed and that her mom strangled.

Keith Lane Hawkins, 19, was arrested. He’s charged with capital homicide and homicide within the first diploma.
