SHERIDAN, Mich. — Michigan State Police have recognized the mother and father injured when a horse-drawn buggy and pickup truck collided, killing three of their youngsters.
They are saying forty-yr-previous buggy driver Paul Martin of Sheridan was in secure situation Monday at a Flint hospital. His spouse, 34-yr-previous Judith Martin, was in crucial situation at a Grand Rapids hospital.
Police say seven of the couple’s youngsters have been within the buggy when the crash occurred Sunday close to Sheridan in part of central Michigan the place many Amish reside. Two sons, ages 12 and seven, and a 9-yr-previous daughter have been killed.
Three sons, ages eight, 3½ and a couple of, stay hospitalized in Grand Rapids in secure situation. An 18-month daughter was launched after hospital remedy.
