An NYPD recruit was struck and dragged by a sanitation truck in Queens early Monday as she was strolling to the police academy a few block away, officers stated.
The accident occurred because the 35-yr-previous lady was making an attempt to cross on the nook of twenty eighth Avenue and Ulmer Road in School Level round 6 a.m.
The truck was touring east on twenty eighth Avenue and struck her whereas making the flip south on Ulmer.
The recruit, who was on her was to the academy for the day, was dragged for a brief distance earlier than being freed.
