Netanyahu wants Trump to allow Jonathan Pollard to move to Israel


Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu needs President Trump to permit convicted spy Jonathan Pollard to maneuver to Israel, based on a report Tuesday.

Netanyahu has appealed to Trump to repeal parole restrictions on the ex-convict and permit him to immigrate to Israel, Channel 2 reviews.

Pollard, a former intelligence analyst for the U.S., was convicted of spying for Israel in 1987 and sentenced to life in jail.

He was granted parole in 2015.
