CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A lady has been charged with serving to her son after he escaped from a West Virginia jail.
Media retailers report sixty two-yr-previous Robin Helton was arraigned Monday in Kanawha County Justice of the Peace Courtroom.
In line with a legal grievance, West Virginia State Police stated Todd Wayne Boyes referred to as Helton after his escape Wednesday from the South Central Regional Jail.
The grievance accuses her of driving him to Texas and giving him $2,000. She allegedly advised troopers later that “I’d do it once more as a result of he’s my son.”
A press release from U.S. Customs and Border Safety stated Boyes was apprehended early Sunday in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, and handed over by Mexican immigration officers at a bridge main into Laredo, Texas.
Helton was held on $50,000 bond. South Central Regional Jail data didn’t point out whether or not she has an lawyer.
