GRIFFIN, Ga. – Two Georgia males accused of dragging a black man to his dying behind a pickup truck have been formally charged.
The Atlanta Journal-Structure reviews that a Spalding County grand jury on Tuesday indicted fifty nine-yr-previous Frank Gebhardt and fifty eight-yr-previous Invoice Moore Sr. within the 1983 slaying of Timothy Coggins. They face expenses together with felony homicide.
District Lawyer Ben Coker stated at a bond listening to final month that Coggins was killed for “socializing with a white feminine.”
Three others additionally face fees associated to the killing.
Sandra Bunn and Lamar Bunn are charged with obstruction of justice. Gregory Huffman was charged with violation of oath of workplace and obstruction of justice. Griffin Judicial Circuit Chief Assistant District Lawyer Marie Broder stated no courtroom date has been set for them.
