Man shoots girlfriend, abducts her 5-year-old son, Durham police say


DURHAM (WTVD) —

Durham police are looking for a person accused of capturing his girlfriend after which abducting her son.

Based on police, the incident occurred Wednesday at a visitors mild at NC fifty five and Cornwallis Street.

Officers stated Randy Sharpe, 32, was driving together with his girlfriend and her 5-yr-previous son once they began arguing.

Studies present Sharpe shot the lady within the leg whereas they have been stopped on the visitors mild.

The lady stated she jumped out of the automotive to get assist when Sharpe drove off together with her son and dropped him off with household in Greensboro.

Police consider Sharpe should be in Greensboro or is in Rocky Mount.

He’s needed for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, assault with a lethal weapon with intent to kill inflicting critical damage, larceny of a motorcar, abduction of a kid, and assault inflicting critical damage with a minor current.
