Man in custody after shooting at Cleveland officers, officials say

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A person accused of capturing at Cleveland cops Friday afternoon within the metropolis’s Tremont neighborhood is now in custody. 

The person, whose identify was not instantly given, shot on the officers about four:30 p.m. after they responded to the intersection of Abbey Avenue and Columbus Street for a report of a lady who was being threatened by a person in a car, police stated. 

The person exited the car and commenced operating. He shot on the officers as they ran after him, authorities stated. 

A minimum of one officer shot again, police stated. Neither the person nor the officers have been injured within the capturing. 

The person ran in to a wooded space. He was in police custody simply earlier than 6:50 p.m., officers stated.
