Kent State plans gospel choir concert in memory of student who died suddenly

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State College group will collect Thursday night for a gospel choir live performance in reminiscence of a scholar who died.

College students and employees members are mourning the demise of Devin Moore, a senior journalism main from Cleveland. A Kent State College spokesman declined to launch particulars of Moore’s demise, however the Document-Courier reported he skilled a medical emergency Wednesday night on the college’s recreation middle.

The gospel choir live performance is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Cartwright Corridor at 650 Hilltop Drive, Kent State College spokesman Eric Mansfield stated in a press release.

Moore is a Beachwood Excessive Faculty graduate and a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity, which named him 2017 fourth District Omega Psi Phi Man of the Yr, Mansfield stated within the assertion.

“Our ideas and prayers are with Devin Moore’s household, pals and Kent State college students as they grieve his tragic passing,” Mansfield stated.

College students gathered on campus Wednesday night time for a candlelight vigil in reminiscence of Moore, the Report-Courier reported.
