Iran will stay dedicated to a multinational nuclear deal so long as it serves the nation’s nationwide pursuits — and its ballistic missile program will increase regardless of strain from the US, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani stated Friday.
Responding to President Trump’s speech earlier on Friday during which he stated he wouldn’t proceed to certify the multinational settlement, Rouhani stated in a stay tv tackle that it was filled with “insults and faux accusations” towards Iranian, Reuters reported.
“The Iranian nation has not and can by no means bow to any overseas strain…Iran and the deal are stronger than ever … Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps will proceed its struggle towards regional terrorists,” Rouhani stated.
He added that Trump’s choice to decertify the deal would isolate the US as different signatories of the accord remained dedicated to it. The deal was not renegotiable, he stated.
