Iowa man dies in Kansas crash en route to get cattle


SIOUX CITY, Iowa (AP) – An 18-yr-previous Iowa man who had been reported lacking died in a crash in Kansas.

KTIV stories that Jake Roos of Ashton, Iowa, was reported lacking early Friday morning whereas he was on the best way to select up a load of cattle.

The Kansas Freeway Patrol says Roos’ car crossed the middle line and crashed on U-36 about 4 miles east of Phillipsburg round 2 a.m. Friday.

Roos had been driving to Stockton, Kansas, to select up the cattle. He wasn’t sporting a seat belt.
