BOSTON (AP) — A cigar half-smoked by British Prime Minister Winston Churchill throughout a 1947 journey to Paris has bought for simply over $12,000 throughout a web-based public sale.
Boston-based mostly RR Public sale says the four-inch (10-centimeter) cigar was purchased Wednesday night by a collector from Palm Seashore, Florida. The customer’s identify wasn’t launched.
