Dems ask Tillerson if Trump anti-Islam tweets put US at risk

A gaggle of Home Democrats is looking on Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to inform them whether or not President Donald Trump’s frequent use of social media is placing U.S. diplomats and People touring overseas in danger.

The 20 members of the Overseas Affairs Committee stated in a letter despatched Wednesday to Tillerson that they’re extraordinarily troubled over Trump’s retweets final week of a far-proper group’s anti-Muslim movies.

They are saying the retweets are official statements from the Republican president and current “a critical hazard” to People by selling Islamophobia, stoking hatred of America and fueling the recruitment of “those that imply hurt to our nation and residents.”

They need to know if the State Division contacted the White Home to precise concern that Trump’s retweets of the movies might set off protests at U.S. embassies.
