A passenger on a flight out of Newark took benefit of turbulence to grope a lady sitting beside him, in accordance with a brand new report.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police acquired a report that a seventy three-yr-previous man had allegedly sexually assaulted his seatmate on a United flight to Charlotte Tuesday night time — and handed the case over to the FBI.
Passengers on the flight stated a lady in her 30s reported the creep grabbed her between her legs, Channel 9 reported.
He blamed it on the turbulence — saying the shaking aircraft had triggered his hand to fall in her lap.
“I’m positive a lady is aware of the distinction between a hand hitting her versus being groped,” traveler Sherrell Ealy stated.
Flight attendants separated the passengers and police escorted the person off the aircraft after touchdown.
United Airways stated they have been working intently with authorities on the investigation Thursday.
“The security of our clients is our prime precedence,” they stated in a press release.
The FBI confirmed they have been investigating and that no arrests had been made.
