A Manhattan lady says a Missouri couple made her life a dwelling hell – by harassing her on-line and in individual over the course of two years, in response to a lawsuit filed Friday.
Kristin Barbato, forty five, stated she met financier James Giacin in June 2015 and went on a depressing date with him, Manhattan Supreme Courtroom paperwork says.
In the course of the dinner Giacin “admitted he’d lied about being divorced and stated as an alternative that he and his spouse had a horrible marriage,” Barbato claims.
After that, he subjected her to a barrage of emails and texts, the $three million go well with says. Issues obtained worse as soon as Giacin’s spouse, Melinda, found the correspondence, Barbato says.
The scorned partner allegedly posted Barbato’s image on Instagram on Nov. 22, 2016 with the hashtags “#adulterers #sleepswithmarriedmen #homewreckers and #shesahomewrecker,” courtroom papers state. The fallout brought on Barbato to lose two jobs.
James Giacin pleaded responsible to a disorderly conduct violation for his undesirable contact with Barbato, courtroom papers state.
