Armed man robs Parma convenience store, police say


PARMA, Ohio — An armed man with a bandana over his face robbed a comfort retailer at gunpoint Monday night time, police say.

The theft occurred about eight:30 p.m. at Dairy Mart on State Street close to Wellington Avenue, Parma police Capt. Kevin Riley stated. Nobody was harm.

The man walked into the shop, moved a show stand out of his approach and went behind the counter close to the cashier, police stated.

He pulled out a gun, pointed it on the worker and demanded the money within the register, police stated. The worker opened the money register for the person.

Parma police acquired a name from an worker who stated that somebody with a gun was robbing the shop.  

The robber took cash and ran out of the shop.

Police haven’t made an arrest within the case and wouldn’t have a suspect.
